US House gets it right for once
The US House of Representatives on Friday passed a wiretap surveillance bill which President George W. Bush has vowed to veto, deepening a standoff over anti-terror espionage powers.

I think that it is insulting to American's to have their president lie to us and then try to go back after the fact and make things legal that were never legal to begin with. I think Bush is trying to scare Americans so that he can complete his power grab.
I know that I'm supposed to be quaking with the prospect of TERROR but really now, it isn't working. I think the only thing Bush said that I agree with is "bring it on" in regard to the terrorists. Let's fight them here instead of going after them.
I mean the dollar is weak enough now to justify staying at home. We need to bring the troops back home and start rebuilding America and making it the"Land of the Free and Home of the Brave" again. Not the "Land of the Surveiled and Home of the Terrorized" as W would like it.
Did I mention that I can't wait for him to be out of office? How many more days? Damn...

Let me elaborate. No no no no no bro.
wow othat's a really compelling argument you make.
Are you saying that we shouldn't fight the terrorists here or that we shouldn't grant immunity for illegal activity after the fact?
