I am a conservative but unlike the current breed of "conservatives" I do not believe that the Republican Party is conservative. The current administration is hell bent on spending money taking away rights and playing a shell game with our taxes. I am starting this post to be a direct assault on the radical conservative movement that seeks to distort the record, lie and dupe the American voters into believing they care, are right, and are conservative.

Stew your accounting is irrelevant to the discussion. Your mirth and glee at maintinence work being performed on the bridge as proof of how wrong I am are only indications of your immature, petty and thuggish nature.
The money provided to the states for bridge repair is in the billions of dollars. My point is that the budget ffor road repair pales in comparison to the budget (that doesn't exist since it is all discretionary spending by Bush) for Iraq. I value a quality of life in America and want to see more money spent here than in Iraq. Since when is taking care of the "homeland" a liberal concept? you're really into burning bridges aren't you?
