Bush is Loyal to Corporations

More than he loves America, apple pie, Chervolet, Bush loves his corporations.

WASHINGTON - President Bush on Friday approved a deal for a Dubai-owned company to take control of some U.S. plants that manufacture parts for U.S. fighter jets and tanks.

The proposed deal, Bush told reporters, “has been looked at very carefully.” He said he had “signed off on it this morning because I am convinced at the recommendation of the CFIUS committee as well as our military that it is a sale that should go through.”

He really wants to sell of every aspect of American security that he can to the Islamofacists. Why is it that all you American loving, gun totin' NASCAR fans still support this president? How can anyone that is in the military support him (aside from the obvious fact that with Bush's policies in place we will always need a military and be at war) and his team?

Please explain.

Sad day for NASCAR

TALLADEGA, Ala. - Two NASCAR fans were electrocuted in a campground outside Talladega Superspeedway when a flagpole they were erecting touched power lines.

It would be too easy to say something like "2 down 30,000 to go" or act like this is anything other than the tragic loss of life that it is. I could say that they were 39 and 42 and between them they had only seen three years of school and that was because they had to take their kids there. That would be mean spirited. I could say that if NASCAR fans had the same IQ as the octane in the gas then they wouldn't be NASCAR fans after all... That would be snippy...

So I won't say any of those things. I will say however that grown men should know about the risks of playing with toys around high voltage power lines. Too bad. I hope someone will learn from this experience. I expect that the families will sue somebody even though they profess to despise those damned trial lawyers like John Edwards etc...
Meanwhile gas soars to over three dollars, Oil companies post record profits and we get ready to drop nuclear bombs on Iran...
