WASHINGTON - The United States is imposing a ban on weapons sales to Venezuela because of what it claims is a lack of support by President Hugo Chavez’s leftist government on counterterrorism efforts, the State Department said Monday.

Why are we as a nation selling weapons at all? I think that a good place to start making a difference in the "War on Terror" would be here at home. Stop selling and making weapons. Land mines, missles, rockets, etc... STOP MAKING THEM. Walk the walk if you talk the talk. For Amreica to claimmoral authority while flooding the market with cheap weapons is hypocrisy. It should be criminal.
